I'm only behind by about.. hm... 8 cafes or so. IT'S OK! Why rush right? This cafe will be revisited anyway, since the voucher hasn't been used up yet. It was in the entertainment book, which I forgot to bring. That book is proving very useful this year actually, since I'm essentially sharing it with my parents and some friends.

Bar Biscotti is close to badminton. Kind of. It's at North Strathfield, nice and close for some, not so close for others. They do coffee well- Mokador. I've seen that blend quite often actually. I never used to notice coffee bean blends very much, but I do know the more popular ones, like single origin, campos and toby's estate.

Really like how they aren't stingy with the chocolate powder either, but unfortunately, the barista is the sort who will hide latte art (or lack of it rather) with chocolate powder. A sight like this often means a lot of choking and spluttering when one drinks and inhales the chocolate powder at the same time. That's why I see lots of people using the spoon to stir the chocolate powder in to the foam before using the teaspoon to scoop the chocolate foam to consume... that is actually considered bad table manners. You're not supposed to lick the teaspoon at all, and must remove the teaspoon from the cup before sipping (delicately) #etiquette101.

But really, who cares about manners right! It's a cafe, not high tea! I like to use my FINGERS to eat (toasts and such), and I do find myself propping my elbows up on the table even when there's food on it... though I'll hastily pull away when I realise it myself. Gotta make an effort in case there are etiquette nazis around... but anyway, this is an overview of breakfast!

Big breakfast~ with poached eggs, of course. Litmus test to follow shortly.

Antipesto and chilli mushrooms in a pan. I loved this. It reminded me of this other restaurant that used to do all sorts of breakfast in cast iron pans, but unfortunately, they stopped doing it and now it's been blacklisted due to the disappointment caused.

"Deja Brew: The feeling you this coffee before". The interior decor is quite quirky. Quite a few posters, bags of beans, very rustic.

From memory, I don't think ST came here before, so this cafe is worth a revisit (just so the third member of our little club can have a try... cast iron pan brekkie!). Might be a bit hard to find a table since, like most decent cafes, it's a small place with a constant flow of customers (quite unlike some huge "cafe" with few people in it, which is actually slightly pathetic). Brownie points for the very wonderful and friendly service! We were greeting immediately upon arriving and it was just such a pleasant environment. None of that "just chill yo, I'll walk away without taking your order because I like wasting your time" attitude.
Sorry Macchiato. You're still not forgiven though.
